Zuellig Industrial completes divestment of ZI-ARGUS

On 3rd March 2023, Zuellig Industrial announces it has successfully completed divestment of the ZI-ARGUS business (“ZIA”) to Process Automation Solutions, a business of Automation Tooling Systems Corporation (collectively “PA-ATS”). We thank the Management and Staff of ZI-ARGUS for their contributions to ZI’s success over the past 22+ years and wish them every success as part of PA-ATS.

Divestment of the ZI-ARGUS Business

Zuellig Industrial (ZI) announces it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest the ZI-ARGUS business in Thailand, Indonesia and Australia to Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (ATS), a Canadian listed group. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. ZI-ARGUS will join Process Automation Solutions (PAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ATS, which is headquartered in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The transaction is dependent upon certain closing conditions and the ZI-ARGUS business will operate as normal until closing.
“Together, the combined organization will create a global footprint, allowing it to become the leading global independent integrator. Both parties are excited for the transaction and I wish the future PAS-ARGUS organization every success.” said Allan Vich Nivatvongs, CEO of Zuellig Industrial.

Zuellig Industrial Donates Computers to Ban Bua Ngam School, Ubon Ratchathani

Over the years, our Zuellig Industrial’sIT department has accumulated many laptops, workstations and printers, which have passed their useful life and can no longer be put to suitable use in our business.
The machines are still in working condition, and rather than selling them for their scrap value, Zuellig Industrial has made a charitable donation to Ban Bua Ngam School in Ubon Ratchathani, where these computers will soon serve educational purposes, expand knowledge and increase opportunities to many students at this school.
The machines have safely reached the school, which is situated in the far east of the country, a particularly poor region in Thailand with many underfunded schools. So students can now stay connected remotely and access to online learning during the pandemic.
Zuellig Industrial is delighted to have made a contribution towards a good cause.

On Saturday, 2nd February 2019, Zuellig group in Thailand launched its 70th Anniversary celebrations at BITEC with theme: Be Zuellig – be YOU.
In 1949, the Zuellig Group opened a branch in Thailand, then called F.E. Zuellig (Bangkok) Ltd. The company initially imported textiles and then specialized in technical products and in the marketing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, agrochemicals and animal health products.
In the 1990s, the diversified enterprises under F.E. Zuellig (Bangkok) Ltd. were reorganized and spun off into distinct companies, each with a specialized business focus.
